Reporting a change in your state's law

State legislatures and education departments revise their homeschool rules from time to time, and a change can land between the site's scheduled reviews. If you notice that a state's rule differs from what a guide or tool here says, please send a link to the statute itself or to the state education department's page that shows the new wording. A primary source lets the change be confirmed and the affected pages updated quickly; a news story or a forum post is a helpful pointer, but it can't be quoted on its own.

Corrections are noted on the changes page with the date they were made.

This site can't answer questions about your family's particular situation, such as whether a specific plan meets your district's expectations. For that, your state's education department, your school district or a lawyer is the right place to ask.

Your records

Your records never reach this site, so they can't be recovered from here if they're lost. Keep your own backup file from each tool you use.
